Highlights of Egypt

7 Nights/8 Days:

 Day1 2:

Cairo, Egypt Board your overnight flight to Cairo, where you are met by our representative and assisted through customs and immigration formalities before being transfered to your hotel.

 Day3:

Cairo Visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, housing the world’s greatest collection of Ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the treasures of King Tut- ankhamun and the Mummy Room.

 Day4:Cairo Travel to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, and to the legendary city of Menes, the King who united Upper and Lower Egypt. Continue to the necropolis of Sakkara to see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser. Visit the three Giza Pyramids built for Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus on the Giza Plateau — the Great Pyramid being the only survivor of the "Seven Wonders of the Ancient World." Continue to the Solar Boat Museum to view the 141-foot long funerary boat of King Cheops, hailed as the single most important archaeological find in Egypt since the Tomb of Tutankhamun. Just to the east is the legendary Sphinx.
Day5:

Cairo / Luxor Fly to Luxor . Arrive and check-in on your cruise . Visit the Temple of Luxor. Proceed to the Temple of Karnak, the biggest temple in Egypt. After lunch on board, cross the Nile to explore its West Bank. Tour the Valley of the Kings, a vast city of the dead where magnificent tombs — including King Tut’s — were carved into the desert rocks. You also have the chance to visit the Valley of the Queens before passing the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn.

  Day6:Luxor / Edfu / Kom Ombo Cruise to Edfu to explore the second largest and most completely preserved Greco- Roman temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horus. Cruising to Kom Ombo and its temple.
 Day7:Kom Ombo / Aswan Visit Kom Ombo Temple .Sail to Aswan.Arrive and visit the Philae temple and the Aswan High Dam and the Old Aswan Dam . Still time for sailing felucca around the botanical Kitchner island and Elephantine island.
 

Day8:

Day9:

Aswan / Abu Simbel / Cairo Disembarkation . You may fly or by bus to Abu Simbel to tour the temples built by the Great Ramses II, Egypt’s longest ruling pharaoh. Later fly to Cairo and transfer to your hotel on the Nile.

Departure from yout hotel to Cairo international airport for your flight back .
