8 Nights/9 Days / 3 Nights Cairo-4 nights cruise Aswan Luxor

 Day1:

Cairo, Egypt Meet and assist at the Cairo Airport .Transfer and Check-in to your selected hotel .

 Day2:

Cairo We begin the day with a visit to the Egyptian Antiquities Museum, an excellent insight into the world of the Pharaohs, which we’ll explore in more detail on our Nile cruise. Included in our guided museum tour are the golden treasures of King Tut ankhamen. We drive to the Citadel to enjoy a commanding view of the city and visit the impressive Mohammed Ali Mosque, then tour to the colorful Khan el Khalil bazaar and search for bargains . We still have time this afternoon Old Cairo and see one of the Coptic Churches .

 Day3:

Cairo This morning, we travel to the plains of Giza to see the three Great Pyramids marvels of human spirit and engineering. Five hundred feet southeast of the Great Pyramid we see the famous Sphinx, a colossal carved figure of a recumbent lion with the head of a man. Also included in our visit is entrance to see the intriguing Solar Boat. Next, we travel to the edge of the western desert and visit Memphis, the site of Egypt’s ancient capital. Here we see the limestone colossus of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. Continuing to Sakkara, we see Egypt’s oldest standing stone structure, the Step Pyramid of King Zoser.

 Day4:Cairo / Abu Simbel / Aswan After breakfast, we drive to the airport for a flight Aswan .- You can continue your flight to Abu Simbel to visit the ancient temples of Abu Simbel. Here, ancient Egyptians carved four figures of King Ramses II 67 feet high out of solid rock.- Embarkation on your Nile cruise ship. Start your the sailing tour by felucca and visit the Botanical Garden,sail around the Elephantine island .
 Day5:Cruising / Kom Ombo / Edfu This morning we see an achievement that belongs to modern Egypt the remarkable High Dam at Aswan and the Aswan Old Dam . We also see the Philae Temple and the unfinished Obelisk near the dam. After sailing to Kom Ombo, we stop and visit a unique temple from the Ptolemic period. Our cruise continues to Edfu for the night.
 Day6:Edfu - Esna / Luxor At Edfu we visit the Temple of Horus. As a sun-god, Horus’ temple had a daily importance to the ancient Egyptians; this is reflected in the attention to detail in the design and construction found here. We continue our Nile journey via Esna and cruise toward Luxor for the night.
 Day7:Luxor Today we visit Luxor, a city built on the site of ancient Thebes, with its famous Valleys of the Kings and Queens. Sixty-four of Egypt’s rulers were buried in ornate tombs here. We tour the Dear El Bahari funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The tour continues to the Colossi of Memnon — huge twin statues, each 63 feet high and hewn from a single piece of rock. We return to the ship .
 Day8:Luxor In the morning we disembark and take an excursion to the Temple of Karnak with its beautiful temple of Amun-Re and Hypostyle Hall, the largest hall of any temple in the world. We continue to the excellently- preserved Temple of Luxor, an ancient wonder that was discovered under a hill of rubble. Later we fly back to Cairo. Upon arrival we are transfered to our hotel.
 Day9:

Departure transfer for back home flight .
